Coordinating the Best Option for You and Your Company

Avid golf fans are not the only patrons of the Masters Golf Tournament. Many national and international companies bring clients and executive teams to the Augusta National every year. Renting a home for a company excursion can come with challenges. As the largest home rental agency for the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, you can be sure that Masters Housing Bureau has a lot of options.

Here are some things to consider when thinking of corporate accommodation for the Masters Golf Tournament.

Types of Homes

There are three types of homes available to rent based on the level of social activity expected for the property. A host home is a good idea if your guest plans to host large groups or receptions for guests and clients. A dinner home is suitable for small dinner evenings or small business gatherings. A sleeper home is akin to an upscale hotel and is more appropriate for even smaller, intimate gatherings when compared to a dinner home.

Many companies will be happy in a host home to eat, socialize, and possibly watch portions of the tournament away from the Augusta National. Multiple homes may be necessary for some companies who have many executives travelling to Augusta. In this case, a host home and multiple sleeper homes would be the appropriate solution.

Location

If multiple homes will be needed, most companies would prefer to select homes that are in the same neighborhood. Business gatherings can be longer and more productive this way, and the lack of long travel times between homes can save money for them in the long run.

Finding another home, even a couple of additional sleeper homes, may be an arduous task to accomplish. If that is the case, we would suggest you find a home in a neighborhood as close to the Host home as possible.

Parking

In the midst of entertaining a large gathering of people, you must consider the amount of parking spaces required. Unless you hire a driving service, you have to assume that a majority of your guests will have to drive themselves to the home.

A good idea would be to speak with the homeowner about parking in the neighborhood. There may be specific neighborhood rules about parking on the street, leading to you needing to find an outside option for parking or driving your guests to the host home.
